With still no sign of the Vivo Xplay 5 or a new Xshot we will just have to fill our Vivo fix with the Vivo X6S Plus which passed through TENAA this week.
The latest version of the Vivo X6 line comes with (according to TENAA) a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution, 4GB RAM, 1.8Ghz processor and 64GB internal memory plus a built-in 3000mAh battery.
Gizchina News of the week
The 7.7mm thin phone gets a pink finish option and a fingerprint scanner, but perhaps the nicest update is to the cameras. With an 8 mega-pixel camera for selfies and a 16 mega-pixel on the rear coupled with Funtouch camera features, it should be quite the shooter.
Pricing and a launch date are to come, and may even include a release date in India.
Judging by the clock, it can be a downclocked version of both snapdragon 652 or 810 (since other sources I’ve read speak of an octacore chip)
Hello everyone, if I wanted to buy a phone purely for taking good quality pictures what phone will u guys recommend?
I bought my girlfriend Oppo R7 Plus but for whatever reason she’s not all happy with the picture quality so she’s willing to give it up for a phone that take better pictures……pls help me guys I need to buy another for her and take Oppo away.
Take the Vivo Xshot then. Great camera I can vouch for it because I have one.
Vivo xshot is one of the best so far, letv le1 (NOT 1s) is good and cheaper, or gionee elife e7 (wich is my current phone, and it’s great for camera), or meizu mx5… The choice depends on your budget
Thanks MattD, I actually have Letv Le1 but I don’t use it because I can’t hide anything or lock my Apps. I like to lock my photo app so people can’t see my pictures without my permission but that is not possible on Le1 so it’s just here in my draw hopefully there will be international ROM that may have those functions then I will use it. I have never used it since I bought last year when I realised that I can not hide my pictures. I have not taken any pictures with it so I don’t know how good the camera is.
My favorite camera phones are Vivo Xshot, Gionee Elife E7, Nubia Z7, Xiaomi Mi4 and Meizu MX5.
It would be a tie between Vivo Xshot and Gionee E7. Vivo Xshot is slightly better but it also harder to find and can cost a lot. The E7 can be found as little $150.
I have ruled out Xshot because of screen size, I mean she’s using Oppo R7 Plus (6″) wouldn’t want to go back to smaller screen. I don’t know the size of E7 but I will check.
