In an interesting move, tablet maker Chuwi have decided to live Tweet the launch of their 12-inch Chuwi Hi12 dual-boot tablet.
Ok live Tweeting isn’t new, but it’s a big step for a Chinese manufacturer and points to the amount of importance Chuwi sees their international market has for them.
Chuwi have been around for years in the Chinese tablet space, but is only recently that they have really started to look outside of the local market and set their sights internationally. The fact that they are using Twitter (despite being blocked in China) to unveil their new products is great news for us international fans.
Gizchina News of the week
The Chuwi Hi12 tablet is a Intel Cherry Tail equipped 12-inch tablet which will ship with Windows 10. Chuwi will release a standard version and a model with stylus plus plan to release a dual-boot system letting the user opt for either an Android or Windows work environment.
Check out the Chuwi Twitter feed for more updates as they launch the Hi12 on the 28th January.

the teclast x16 power is more your speed maybe
Good luck with the dual boot!
Could the end user flash the Chuwi Hi12 with the dual boot option?
I believe that is their plan
What could they be offering that makes them want to live tweet it? Either it is a “surface 3” competitor at half the cost, or it is sporting some new accessories not on other atom tablets yet.
Hopefully the price will be on par with it’s budget SoC.
