Another sub $100 phone for you budget phone hunters to choose from, but if I had my choice I think the Homtom HT7 Pro would be high on my list.
At $89.99 the Homtom HT7 Pro is in competition with phones from Bluboo, Blackview, and UMi just to name a few, but what the HomTom offers that some of the more affordable phones can’t is LTE, 2GB RAM and a 3000mAh battery.
Plenty of 2016 budget phones have launched at under $100 but many of them use the Mediatek MT6580, a quad-core chip that is limited to only GSM and WCDMA 3G networks. The HT7 Pro on the other hand gets the MT6735 processor that also supports FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600mhz.
Gizchina News of the week
Memory comes in the form of 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and the option to run up to 128GB SD cards.
The 5.5-inch HD phone is already up for pre-sale now through Gearbest at $89.99, which is actually more affordable than some of the 3G only MT6580 phones we have seen.
