Last year Lenovo launched the fantastic Lenovo Vibe X3 but it is no longer a China only exclusive as the phone has launched in India for Rs 19,999.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 has a great design, amazing build and wonderful features. In fact I was so impressed with the Snapdragon 808 phone, it’s Sony IMX230 21 mega-pixel camera and Dolby Atmos Audio that I bought one for myself (Lenovo Vibe X3 first impressions).
Indian smartphone buyers have the option of buying the 32GB version of the Lenovo Vibe X3 (three models were launched in China) and if that’s not enough memory then a 128GB SD card can be put in to action.
The Vibe X3 also features a 3600mAh battery, Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and a rear fingerprint scanner.
Gizchina News of the week
As mine is the Chinese version of the phone I don’t have Google Services (hence the delay in review) but with the launch of the India model I hope to update the system to an international ROM and review the phone soon.
In the meantime check out my Lenovo Vibe X3 hands on video below.
Could you please add USD average price in text on the post date. As it is a real pain to convert it every time you post news with prices with China and India currencies
I agree… I’m kind of getting used to convert from yuan, but Indian’s value is still obscure for me lol
At US $ 293, i think India price is quite reasonable, and to top it all, it will have Google Services working, a fact that Andi was complaining so much about in his 2499 Y chinese version, for a change a phone cheaper in India than even China ?, this truly is a phone worth buying for us. Bye Bye my Galaxy Note 4.
This Indian price is really tempting (compared to European ~450€ price) but are there any drawbacks if I decide to order this from India? Besides taxes. I’ve never ordered a phone from abroad so I have no idea if there are some issues to take in consideration.
Oh, and still waiting for that review… 😉
I don’t know where you live, but usually indian sellers do not ship abroad
I live in Finland but if Indian sellers won’t ship abroad I think I just have to stick with European sellers
Probably yes… I’ve heard some indian sellers ship to nearer countries, but we in Europe are totally cut out :-/
I am getting this phone for myself … I could help if you like … will check with DHL about shipping cost from India (Pune) to wherever you are in Finland.
I’m interested

Very attractive in specs as well as pricing. If the performance is good, this will just fly off the shelves.
And now that it has “lunched” in India, hope it stays for dinner too! XD
LOL…. it’s coming on my plate… 😀

Point to note: The India version has a battery 100 mAh lesser (3500 mAh) in comparison to the Chinese version.
