While Oppo were launch their Oppo F1 today in Mumbai, the company decided to drop in a teaser for the Oppo F1 Plus rumoured to launch in April.
The current Oppo F1 is marketed as a professional selfie phone with an 8 mega-pixel F2.0 camera and 1/4” sensor, but apparently the Oppo F1 Plus will get even better camera performance.
Gizchina News of the week
The slide shows the the update plus version will have a larger 5.5-inch FHD screen, 4GB RM and a ‘More Sophisticated Front Camera Experience’. This tease might also have something to do with the new camera technology Oppo plan on launching at MWC next month.
It doesn’t strike me as a good business practice to launch a phone saying that in a few months there will be another variant that will be a better and improved version.
They’re just stating the obvious. For any manufacturer, their latest release is the latest and greatest…for a few months…
‘More Sophisticated Front Camera Experience’ definitely OPPO are monitoring the market and know front camera resolution is a short fall of many phones.
how do these guys still sell phones?
i have no idea !
ikr
it kills to know that there is a HTC DESIRE EYE lurking in the back mirror of all the wannabe’s front camera phones, not that i would like one (i don’t like HTC design language) but at 13mpx front AF camera and dual tone flash and good software , then everything else is MEhhh….
pretty good cam setup
lets see the price…
