OnePlus X will go invite-free in India starting midnight tonight

OnePlus’ first non-‘flagship killer’ phone, i.e., the OnePlus X is set to go invite free in India.

OnePlus phones launch with a peculiar-yet-successful invite model, which requires buyers to have ‘invites’ in order to purchase phones.

However, after a certain period on the market, OnePlus usually make their phones invite free. The OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 have received similar treatment prior to the OnePlus X.

Coming back to the announcement, according to OnePlus the X will go invite-free starting midnight tonight, i.e., at 00:00 hours, February 5th in India tonight.
