Huawei entry-level to mid-range Honor Holly 2 Plus is now on sale in India for 8499 INR or $125.
The Honor Holly 2 Plus packs a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor, which is a downclocked version of the ‘regular’ MT6735 which we’ve seen power a lot of other phones.
Besides that, the Holly 2 Plus has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM and an above average capacity 4000mAh battery. The MT6735-series of SoCs from MediaTek have proved to be fairly power efficient, so a nice and long battery backup can be expected.
Gizchina News of the week
Moving on, the phone has a 5-inch 1280 x 720p HD display besides a 13 mega-pixel rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera.
The phone will be sold on Amazon and Flipkart, which happen to be the country’s premier online stores.
The Honor Holly 2 Plus will face direct competition from a bunch of companies, including Coolpad, Xiaomi, and more. Do you think this new phone presents competition worth considering?
That’s a really good phone for that price! Huawei seems to be all in with fingerprintsensors on the back
im pretty sure thats an image of the Honor 5x and not the Honor Holly 2 Plus
man for some reason i really hate on mtk6735/53 i would still go for the redmi 3 over this
Is this the new way? No sensors like gyro or compass, also no nfc and not even USB-OTG. But you get a fingerprint sensor no one really needs…
Sorry, seems like this phone doesn’t feature an fingerprint sensor, only the picture is wrong! (http://tinyurl.com/hp3v2zl)
Everything good… 😉
I use the fingerprint sensor on my Honor 7 like 200 times a day, and i have never once used a compass on my phone.. NFC tho is somethning that is going to bee usefull when mobile payments are becoming more common.
