Aston Martin have just announced a joint venture with LeEco to produce a range of connected vehicles including the Aston Martin Rapid E.
LeEco, is LeTV’s ecosystem which includes LeTV’s smartphones, Android based OS, streaming services and smart vehicles. Current the only smart vehicle in their range is the LeTV smart bike but something a whole lot more exciting is on the cards.
Today Aston Martin accounted that they and LeEco have come together in the joint venture to produce next generation connected vehicles.

LeEco are connected to Faraday Future, and now with Aston Martin will work on R&D on a hose of electric vehicles including the Faraday Future and Aston Martin Rapid E.
The JV will see Aston Martin concentrate on whole vehicle technology while LeEco will work on the powertrain and IOV technologies. The first vehicles from the partnership are set to go in the mass production in 2018.
