To look after that, these brands often have a software team working on various ROMs for their phones. Years after its inception, CyanogenMod still happens to be one of the favourite aftermarket ROMs, and the Oukitel K4000 Pro is on the verge of getting one.

The ROM is still in its nascent stages, but the devs are working on ironing out the bugs. For now, GPS isn’t working as it should, while features like WiFi, Bluetooth and hardware acceleration have already been implemented.
