While those pixel counts are quite up to par with what other manufacturers are offering, the pricing on the Infocus range is hard to be beat (in India at least).
Prices start at Rs 9,999 for the 24-incher, moving up to Rs 15,999 for the 32-incher and Rs 34,999 for the 50-inch model. The top of the range 60-inch TV has a Sharp supplied Gen 10 display and costs Rs 69,999.
Customers in India planning to pick one of the new flatscreen up can even book home demo where the company will bring a TV to your home or office to try out before buying.
How the hell is that cheap for FHD? If it was 4k it wouldn’t be bad but 500$ for 50 inch 1080p is really not worth it.
Yeah that’s what I thought, as I just bought a brand new 50 inch 4k TV from a well known TV manufacturer for £450. Which is about £100 more then the FHD 50 inch quoted here.
In India that is a good deal for 50″ FHD. On Amazon India they have 50″ FHD’s range from 33,500 ($493) – 132,900 ($1958 for 3D LED). I spent about 6 months in Mumbai once and went to the mall to buy a TV for my place. I bought an LG 42″ on sale for around $400, the only thing cheaper than those were brands I had never heard of and the quality wasn’t as great.
Consumer electronics are often cheaper in the western world.
