Elephone are looking for fans to become the voice of their action camera in a competition which could earn you the new Explorer Pro camera.
Elephone entered the action camera market late last year, and are following up that product with something with more of an original design and features. The new Elephone Explorer Pro will have a more premium look about it, but most interesting it will have a voice notification feature.
Current action cameras rely on simple beeps to tell the wearer what operation the camera is performing, but Elephone want to replace those beeps with actual spoken notifications. So for example a press of the record button would be followed by “Video Start”.

Elephone plan to offer the voices in 8 languages including Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian, but they want their fans to be the voices used.
In a competition help on the Elephone website, fans are asked to record 4 simple phrases in MP3 format and send them in. A winner for each of the 8 languages will be chosen and their voice will be used on the Explorer Pro. The winners will each take home the new action camera.
