Jumper tablets? Nope, never heard of them either, but this new tablet maker from China hopes to enter the growing Windows 10 2-in-1 market with their $250 offering.
There has been a significant increase in the number of tablets becoming available this year, and we have seen that more Chinese tablet brands are realising that they need to be part of the global market to continue a healthy growth, but Jumper is not a name we are familiar with.
The tablet itself features a kickstand similar to that found on the Surface, and runs Windows 10 on an Intel chipset and 4GB RAM. Without the keyboard you must use the 11.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display.

The alloy chassis features a magnetic connector for docking a keyboard too, stereo speakers, front and rear cameras, 8500mAh battery, HDMI out, headphone jack, 1x USB 3.0 and 2 x USB 2.0.
Jumper offer the EZpad 5s with the folding keyboard for $355.33 or without the keyboard for $249.96.
If you are interested in Windows tablets, then keep an eye out for tomorrow’s Fresh Goods which will include the 12-inch Chuwi Hi 12 tablet.
…as always. As if z3735f was not sucky enough , intel created the z8300 in all its single channel patheticness … Those bad surface pro clones should stop, they’re a trap for people to part from their money, they’re good for nothing.
This is not just a tablet, this is a 2in1 mostly meant to be used in a desktop mode. I don’t think tablet users would prefer a Microsoft/x86 combo anyway. Arm + apple/play stores have hundreds of times the choices/support and better batery/weight per inch ratio …
Like I say about those cheap 2in1s they manage to be bad both as tablets and as laptops. Surface pro is a mediocre tablet too, but it is saved by its power + pen support, those cheap knockoff on the other hand are literally good at nothing…
So yeah, it needs an actual processor so that to pass as a small laptop at least…
It has an actual processor which handles office, browsing and media consumption (and therefore the need of atleast 90% of all users) just fine and is a reasonable choice for a ~250USD device
If you want more power go and pay more than double the price for a Cube i9 or the like… Just because YOU dont want reasonable powered and price devices doesnt mean nobody does
It’s the power of a 2006’s Core 2 Duo. It’s not a reasonable price, it’s ripping off customers. But oh well, if they’re happy with it all the more power to them…
