An image showing the specifications of the upcoming flagship LeTV Le 2 Pro has been leaked revealing key hardware parameters of the new phone.
The image appears to have been taken of the rear of the LeTV Le 2 Pro’s packaging and lists some of the main selling points of the upcoming flagship model.
Gizchina News of the week
Listed in the specifications are a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 display, 21 mega-pixel main camera and a USB Type C. The specs also confirm an 8 mega-pixel front camera, and a 3100mAh battery.
That battery size is a a little disconcerting though, it seems a little on the small side for a SD820, 2K flagship phone, but we will only know for sure once the phone hits the market.
What do you make of these specifications?
They need to improve their EUI, its the worst Android implementation I have ever seen, full of bugs, random reboots and it doesnt like play services. Unlike MIUI CN ROM, The EUI only contains bloat
Yes I have the LEtv one, but i am selling it. I cant stand the OS anymore
hey mate i have a One Pro and i dont really have any bugs like you (might be the model?), i highly recommend custom roms (you can find some on letv.re). I use a debloated EUI rom and it works great (thus i also hate the fact it looks and feels similar to Apples IOS)
I can think of plenty of Android UI’s that are much worse than this one. Starting with Samsung TouchWiz.
The increase in power consumption is actually not that big,if any – just because a display is 1080p it doesn’t mean that some 1440p displays won’t have lower power consumption. In any case the difference can be up to 200mW and that’s not that much. If you care that much you should avoid OLED too as it still uses more power than LCD.
i also like to play games and i would like my frames to be more stable, PLUS the difference in image quality is far too little for me to justify the extra MONEY these oems want me to pay, yeah your right that some 1440 will have lower consumption than some 1080 BUT the best/top quality 1080 will NEVER consume more power than the best 1440 try to go around it all you want
i always preferred lcd btw, they are generally brighter, more color accurate, has more longevity(no burn ins) and very efficient with showing whites.. which is nice since i read ALOT and the whites dont have weird hues like most amoleds, i did not know OLED take more power please explain
Sorry, LeTV or LeEco?
The battery is in line with others. They might have more compact devices than most and that leaves them with less room for the battery.
Android N should be a big step forward for battery life as Doze gets expanded.
i somewhat agree with you, but the thing is letv phones from the first gen are quite thick compared to other flagships for example my letv 1 Pro has a 3000mah battery @ 9mm thickness, this years xiaomi mi5 has 3600mah @ 7.2~mm thickness and the mi5 is smaller, so basiclly they´re in line with others but also behind some others (xiaomi in this case)
Last year’s model was curved so the thickness is misleading.
LG , Samsung do have smaller batteries, Vivo is at 3600mAh. The MI5 has 3000mAh not 3600mAh and they fit that one because they go with big upper and lower bezels.
