According to Ulefone’s latest post, their Power smartphone has been a major success with 350,000 phone sales so far.
It’s quite common to see impressive sales figures when it comes to brands like Xioami, LeTV or Meizu, but we never generally hear how many smartphones the smaller brands manage to sell.
Ulefone have revealed a figure this week though, with a claimed 350,000 Ulefone Power phones sold since the handset was launched earlier in the year. It’s difficult to know if the number is of how many phones have actually shipped or just the number of phones ordered, but such a large number in such a short time would be quite the feat for Ulefone.
Gizchina News of the week
The main selling point of the Ulefone Power is the 6050mAh battery, the phone also has a metal frame, wood look rear cover, fingerprint scanner, 5.5-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel rear camera.
In other Ulefone news, the company has plans to launch their bezel-less Ulefone Future soon, and the Ulefone Vienna which will be the first audio-centric smartphone from the company.
My friend also ordered Gearbest, Gearbest reply will be shipped next week,
We hope to receive soon.
I cancelled mine after waiting 2 weeks and ordered a new one on gizchina’s shop last Friday. It’s home since Wednesday :).
So far I like it although I haven’t really tested it’s capabilities yet. I’m still testing Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro which arrived last Tuesday.
holy crap, please give us a comparison. I’m considering both of these phones but leaning towards the Note 3 Pro
I will, please allow me to test both phones a couple of days before giving my final conclusions but so far (And I can’t believe what I’m saying now) , I’m leaning more towards the Ulephone than the Xiaomi.
Mostly because my Power is rooted and the Xiaomi has a locked bootloader.
I will give you more details tomorrow.
Hello I tested both ulefone and xiaomi note 3 (without pro)
They are somehow similar phones but ulefone is cheaper and with that how some flaws.
Ulefone dont have so good performance , you can not notice that and the almost stock android is JOY to use withot any bloatware. I love it. As for the performance the gaming is not so great some games just stutter. Some games work great some have problems I guess the problem is with the android, I will see if that will be fixed with android 6 if you are not gamer on mobile like me this is not a problem. Also camera on ulefone is worse then on xiomi. Not too much but it is. There is slight problem with expsure settings on ulefone that make this camera bad in fact it is pretty good for the money. The ulefone have better battery, I prefer the weight and design and the stock android those are + for ulefone. Also I think ulefone have qucker chargin technology.
As for xiomi it is really great phone though I am not a fan of miui. It is good nice polished but I like stock more. Also if you have shop rom then you will have to update it yourself only original china rom will be updated from xiomi. The design is little more sleek with that aluminium body. Everything runs ok. Also I must note that these phones have problems with getting notifications. Ulefone does get notifications but xiomi dont get any if you dont have the app running in the background which is little frustrating. I think this is generally problem with chinese android 5.1 phones.
Also redmi note fingerprint reader is little bit better then on ulfone.
On the end if you need good performance and overall nice designed phone go for xiomi. If you want even better battery and stock efficient android wtih possibilities for good updates in the future (depends on ulefone) and less money go with power.
Just my overall opinion.
