Mid way through last month Cubot announced the surprising specs of their Cubot H2 smartphone,. The brand has now released real photos so what do you think?
If you missed our first post about the Cubot H2, then here are the main details of the new phone’s specs.
First up this is the first ‘power’ phone that Cubot will release, meaning that it has a larger than average battery. In this case the Cubot H2 will feature a 5000mAh battery inside the 9.1mm chassis.
Gizchina News of the week
The rest of the specs are designed to balance the usability, performance and price, so the 5.5-inch screen is a 1280 x 720 HD panel, and the processor is a quad-core MT6735A, but then on the other hand the phone will boast 3GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel main camera, and 5 mega-pixel front.
We have no official word on pricing, but a Google search brought up resellers already reporting the price to be $159.99, in line with similar phones from rivals.
Cubot H2 real photos
It will be interesting to see how the Cubot H2 is received as the phone has some serious competition from big and small brands alike.
Why will use 1280 * 720 screen, why MT6735 chip? This is not only to have a large battery, but also a good performance, I think I would choose ulefone Power.https://youtu.be/W3upLtPAEeA
If Cubot goes a head and warranty at least 1 year of software updates or at least one mayor software update they could really skyrocket in sales, their phones are well made and they use quality hardware not the cheapest they could find like Elephone/Doogee/Latest UMI phones.
I would really love to see them grow to the level of the big chinese phone makers.
h1 one’s camera wasnt good, i know its a budget phone but it could be better, the h1’s ram management is incredible very good for multitasking i got 1.7 out of 2 gb on boot, maybe this 5000mah is more dense than the previous 5200mahh?
Display to front ratio looks amazing, especially for a phone without those pesky onscreen buttons… Curious to see how much of that remains after the display lights up
Too bad the hardware is quite low end… With MT6755/52 and FHD Display, that device would suddenly become very interesting
I can faintly see a black border on the display much like the Mi5.
The black borders here look really thick (especially top and bottom)

Where is the big Update apart from the 1GB more of RAM and 200mAh less in Battery? Oh yeah and the missing flash for the main camera..
Okay saw the flash. Missed it in the pics the first time round….

A very nice RAM capacity. I just hope the build is durable.

Could have at least used a 6753, this 6735 phones are getting really old really fast, and we all know Cubot will charge at least 150-160$ for this phone.
