Be ready because this year VR headsets are going to be everywhere in the Chinese tech news, and Aiwear plan to be first with their option in various colours.
Last year the Chinese tech industry tried out wearables and it seems like almost every smartphone vendor also had a watch under their brand too. This year the wearable market looks to be quieting down, only to make space for the increasing interest in VR.
HTC and Oculus are leading the way in high-end consumer VR, but Chinese brands hope to tap in to the market with low-cost Android powered options.
Gizchina News of the week
The Aiwear VR headset looks set to be one of the first to go on sale and will run a 5.5-inch 1080 display, Android OS and quad-core chipset. Adjustable sapphire glass lenses should mean super clearing movie watching and gaming. Aiwear plan to release a couple of colours in the wearable about we’re not sure that these headsets are ever going to be fashion accessories.
Aiwear were also rumoured to be working on a Google Glass type headset and also build smartwatches too.
Their slogan tells me everything…..
“You buy is not a cheap model toys.”
Don’t knock it, the grammar is better than that of some of the articles that appear here on Gizchina!!
looks more like a normal glass without display or any electronic inside. u can see the lens in the back from the front, should not be visible if theres a display built in.
…but why? you’ll never see those colors while using it 😐
