With a 3000mAh battery, LTE , 2GB RAM and a presale price of just $84.99, the HomTom HT3 Pro is shaping up to be a hot seller this year.
Homtom have begun pre sales of the Pro variant of the HT3. The phone features the same 3000mAh battery as the original HT3, but a slight change in design, and upgraded components.
The component upgrades include an increase to 2GB RAM, and a Mediatek MT6753 chipset which is not only faster than the MT6780 in the standard HT3 but also means you can use the phone on LTE networks.
Gizchina News of the week
Other features of the phone include a 2.5D curved glass display, 1280 x 720 resolution display, 16GB internal memory and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. The specs look good especially when just a year or so ago this hardware would be found on some flagship devices.
Pre-sales have already started and will end on 10th April.
Sharesale link on a Gizchina article ? 🙁
By the way, the CPU on your Gearbest sharesale link is a MTK6735 Quad Core. Not quite a flagship, like Abbie thinks. The price is quite low, though.
You can get it $79 on GearBest, using the coupon KIMOVIL200 … Amazing price for this phone! But I don’t like that it doesn’t have Backlight buttons (as it seems)…
Note to HomTom: You simply cannot call an $85 phone “Pro”.
If there are two versions of the same phone, and one is better, why not?
