The Blackview A8 is a budget phone that wants to bring higher quality photography to the masses with a rear 8 mega-pixel Sony sensor from the iPhone 5S.
Blackview showed us the A8 at MWC, and for a budget phone it looks pretty good. At the show Blackview execs told us the price would be $54.99 with metal frame, 8 mega-pixel Sony rear camera, 5-inch HD display and Android 5.1, but pre sale pricing has the phone listed at only $49.99.
Specs for the A8 also include a quad-core Mediatek MT6580A chipset, so there is no LTE support on this version of the phone. Internal memory is 8GB but an SD card is supported and the battery size is 2000mAh.
