4GB/128GB Xiaomi Mi 5 will go on sale April 6th

xiaomi mi5 unboxing

Xiaomi announced a total of 3 variants of the Mi 5 at launch, a couple of which went on sale at the start of this month.

The highest end version of the phone — the Mi 5 Pro with 4GB RAM and 128GB on-board storage — now has a sale date in China.

…and guess what, the Mi 5 Pro goes on sale in China the same day as the Huawei P9 and Meizu M3 note launch, i.e., 6th of April. Chinese phone makers definitely know how to make the most out of hype… made by another brand!

Gizchina News of the week

Coming back to the Mi 5, the phone is among the first ones in the world to ship with the Snapdragon 820 processor. We spent a good few weeks with the Mi 5, you can read our review of the phone here.

The OP3 better be cheap and AWESOME or else it will be butting the dust… I haven’t really found any of their previous offerings that fancy to my tasty… Hope they make me apologize …
