Since Xiaomi upped the size of the battery in their Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, other phone makers have taken a similar step and even Meizu are trying with the M3 Note.
Meizu’s ‘youth’ range of phones started a few years back and consists of a budget model and larger ‘note’ version. The current models are the M2 and M2 Note, and it doesn’t require much imagination to know what the next versions will be called.
We’ve already seen some details of the Meizu M3 and M3 Note in this leaked roadmap, now a new spy photo purports to confirm the battery size in the Meizu M3 Note as being a 3500mAh cell.
Gizchina News of the week
While this might be 500mAh less than the one in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, it is larger than the current M2 Note.
Apparently the Meizu M3 Note will remain thin despite the larger battery, and will run a Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory and 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 FHD display.
Meizu have already started to hype up the launch of their new M3 phones in China by giving away a Telsa car to one lucky Meizu fan at the launch event.
Is this a knockoff Tesla car?
It looks identical to the Meizu metal that I have in my hands right now, right down to the colour.
It looks like Meizu has decided to stick with that same metal design. It’s not bad I just wish it would come in more colors besides dull silver and gold.
The design is ok and I understand what you mean about the colour as it is a little drab, but there is always the option of a case in any colour you like.
Not for me, I hate cases on phones. I actually like the design of the Meizu phones, it’s simply yet elegant. Just wish they would offer black or blue or something a little darker.
I know you do, I’m not a lover of them either. However, since I have broken sooo many phones I have reluctantly started using one which worked out well since my phone had the mother of all drops last week and survived without a scratch. I’m sure without the case I would now have no phone. I also smashed my new tablet last night when I tripped and dropped it down the stairs and it smashed into the wall, really annoying as the case hadn’t arrived for it yet and the cost is still on my credit card. Will now have a case and no tablet to put in it. This Chinese tech is costing me a small fortune 🙁
Lol, how do you like the metal so far?
Absolutely love it, I’ve had about 8 phones over the last 2 years and it’s better than all of them. The only issues I have is the fingerprint scanner, that seems to work as and when it feels like it and video playback (stuff I’ve recorded with the phone camera) sometimes the screen just goes really dark like screen brightness is on min even when it’s on full. This happens occasionally, the video quality is superb though and is better than my FHD camcorder.
I have been having the same issues with the MX5 fingerprint scanner. It was fine for months but lately it’s been acting up.
Meizu have always had build quality or software issues, but their new budget phones like the M2/3 are worth their money, too bad their flagship series leave allot to be desired at the current steep pricetags.
The leak is about the battery not the phone, th3 phone pictured here is the Metal.
also tell me exactly what stuff were you taking … its definitely effective and good
