Blackview have just listed the new Blackview A5 over on their website, but looking at the specs and pricing we would just buy the A8.
Blackview announced their Blackview A8 at MWC and just started to ship the phone (for around $50) with a metal body, HD display and the same 8 mega-pixel camera as the iPhone 5S, which makes news of the Blackview A8 difficult to comprehend.
Gizchina News of the week
The A5, listed on the Blackview Website today, will feature just a 480 x 854 resolution display, a 5 mega-pixel main camera and a plastic body, for $45! Its an odd move buy Blackview and one we can’t quite comprehend.
Other features of the Blackview A5 include a 2000mAh battery, Mediatek MT6580 chipset, and no LTE support.
Apparently Blackview will have a social launch price for the A5, but at it’s RRP of $44.99, we would just suggest paying the extra couple of $ and buy the A8 instead.
Like the a8 will actually have that final price… We’ve seen this hundreds of times now: first stock (with 10 phones inside) will have the announced price on pre-sell, than they’ll rise the price (umi rome does remind you of anything? Does it still have the announced 99$ price tag?)
but that back design tho :D, MattDETECTIVE speaking the truth, i think this wil be the case as well
If Lollipop then no thanks.
Why? Is there something in Marshmallow that you absolutely can’t live without? Personally I would just want to have a stable working rom, regardless of version.
amen
But you both can’t deny you would feel crippled if left just to use this phone in this day and age for a week… I know this is not what I am in this web-page after…. That ZOPO SPEED 8 is getting me all worked up jejejeje
yeah i would lol, speaking of the speed 8 seems like no ones to review it or something, i really want to see how good x20 is
It is Android 6.0 – http://vk.com/blackview.jeko?w=wall-100488567_9440

yep, can pre order the A8 for 63 bucks, definitely worth the extra 13 bucks. neither interest me at all, but i agree that there is no need for this phone to exist

The A8 isn’t BETTER then the A5, but DIFFERENT from it.
The A5 is better in:
– portability & comfort – due to smaller screen size (4.5″ is perfect for one hand use)
– Battery life – thanks to the small screen resolution on a small screen size.
And which still looks very good – when even Google android developer documentation defines the 218 PPI of this phone – as “High Density Screen”.
– Battery life again – as the device is running Android 6 with the Doze feature…
…And there you have it…! a phone with it’s OWN advantages over the A8…
Have a great day everyone…!
