We’ve seen a few tablet PCs in the past couple of weeks, more or less with the same specs set. There’s hardly anything to choose from spec wise, which can sometimes make the market seem a little dull. BlackBook, however, seem to want to change that… and more.
The new BlackBook 2-in-1 tablet PC is their choice of weaponry for that. The device, essentially a tablet PC, doubles up as a laptop/netbook when needed to provide computing on the go.
The device is powered by the Intel Cherry Trail X7 Z8700 SoC, and along with that features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on board storage.
No fancy dual boot here though, folks. Only plain and simple Windows… version 10.
Gizchina News of the week
2-in-1 because the tablet supports a Surface-style keyboard. Kind of an anti-climax, eh?
The BlackBook already has a pre-sale listing going for it with a mentioned price of $429, but I’m hoping that’s only a placeholder.
Wow, looks pretty cool. When will it be available? What about a review? Could be my next 2in1, yeah
Trouble is now that most Chinese tablet manufacturers have turned their back on Android devices. If this were dual boot it would be great as the teclast x16 power uses the same chip set and has dual boot. Still in the market for an android though…
