A little after launching the F1 Plus in India, OPPO have announced the F1 Plus for the Malaysian market.
If you aren’t aware, the phone is sold as another from the ‘Selfie Expert’ series of phones. What validates the F1 Plus’ entry into the series is its front camera, which stands at an impressive 16 mega-pixels in resolution.
The F1 Plus, as the name suggests, is designed to succeed the OPPO F1 which was launched in January this year.

Full specifications of the phone include a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of on-board storage, and a 2850mAh battery. The phone support’s OPPO’s own take on fast charging, aka VOOC.
The rear of the phone has a 13 mega-pixel PDAF enabled sensor. OPPO could probably have given the rear a 16- or 21- mega-pixel sensor, but that wouldn’t make as much poetic sense as a 13 mega-pixel camera does… at least in the eyes of selfie lovers.
Out of the box the F1 Plus runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, on top of which ColorOS 3.0 is baked. The front of the phone looks very similar to the MX5 from Meizu, with the front home button doubling up as the fingerprint sensor.
In Malaysia, the OPPO F1 is RM 1898, or $483.
