Chinese phone makers Homtom were always profiling themselves as the budget oriented company, but seems like their recent aspirations are reaching higher. And the upcoming Homtom HT10 model will be spearheading the change.
Nothing lasts forever so we can slowly stop seeing Homtom with the entry-level glasses. So far we have seen articles about the HT10 model describing its second generation of iris scanner and Global 4G network.
Gizchina News of the week
Now we have another confirmation concerning the chipset used in the phone and looks like the rumors were true, it will be really using the deca-core Helio X20. With the chipset also comes the unpleasant inevitability of much higher price tag than usual. But still the revealed price of 269.99$ isn’t something back-breaking, especially when you take a closer look at the specs.
The big question mark is of course the fact, if the brand itself can manage the upper class transformation and all the demands and expectations tied to that. We can just cross our fingers, carefully observe and wait for the review to answer it.
Just remember that this is still a DOOGEE phone
Any idea how much of a price increase we talking about for the x20?
It all depends on Leeco I would say. If they manage to bring the Le2 with x20 and similar price tag to Le1 around $200 then none of these phones like HT10, speed 8 etc can become a big success…
Even if the Le2 is available for 150usd I would never buy it because of retarded onscreen buttons, ridiculous black screen borders and missing LTE bands
You can’t stop writing this about the letv smartphones, can you?
I already told you in another article, that the LE1S does NOT have on screen buttons.
There are.many markets where the LeEco phones won’t be any time soon but the doogee phone will due to network workability,
quality? How knows, but is not like LeEco is helping or giving hope they will make more international versions of their phones.
