Few days ago the latest Android 6.0 beta ROM for Ulefone Power model got leaked to Needrom (deliberately or not) and forced the company to react with official blog post containing the leak and offering their own links and installation guide.
But there is a catch… The beta is tagged as “near completion version” so it also carries official warning “everything you doing with your phone you do on your own risk while the company is not taking responsibility for anything that may happen after flashing the ROM.” with it.
Gizchina News of the week
Another major flaw in the best are missing drivers for the fingerprint scanner so you can wave goodbye for its functionality with this ROM. So the impatient and bold users can try to be among the first ones to test the new Android 6.0, but the rest of us cowards will rather wait until mid April, when we should get the official full update via OTA. Hopefully.
there was this i7 guy complaining about the power not getting marshmallow, i personally dont care too much about marshmallow but good to see they are trying, lol once again i dont understand people many will sit humbly when big oems dont update their software but they wil surely attack the hell out of the smaller oem
I’m glad there’s finally marshmallow for this phone. Been using it for a while now and really looking forward to the doze feature increasing battery life!
Oh and I’m down for a new company! I’ve got some pretty good ideas too. For example, a dual screen tablet. On the one side there will be a retina display. On the other side, an epaper display. How’s that for a good idea?!
or cameracentric phone that nearly as good as the best in the smartphone industry, but use mt6735 and 720p just to down the cost a little
i7 is an interesting character.
We should all band together to make our company, I guarantee we could be better than Elephone lol.
Just hire a couple of guys on xda and you’ll have your own GOOD software support… I’m actually interested in your idea, I’m taking care of management and marketing stuff, and the series of phones with jumbo batteries! ?
And my poor old, or I guess, ancient, pre-historic Be Pro just languishes in a box. Orphaned in August 2015. So sad.
Very cool ulefone good job
