It’s been a while since we had to worry about GPS on Mediatek phones, but it’s always nice to see some sort of confirmation that we’re not going to get a dud.
Ulefone have been producing plenty of videos of their upcoming Vienna phone, mostly about the audio performance of the phone, however the newest focuses on the GPS performance of the smartphone.
That said it’s not the test we would have performed ourselves, and rather than running a GPS test app, the video simply shows the car connected to GPs and using Google maps while driving around.
So we do know that GPS will work, but we don’t know how fast the initial and subsequent lock on times are going to be, in this case we are going to have to run these tests for ourselves once the Vienna arrives for review.
