Lenovo proudly presents their Lenovo Lemon 3 model as a big competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 3 so could it be true? Looking at the specs I think so, because the specs looks pretty similar.
With the Lemon tag attached to it they are also hinting at lower price, because in China the Lemon devices are the budget ones. Remember for example the Lenovo Lemon K3 two years ago, which also tried to take on the Redmi models.
So what could Lemon 3 offer to the masses? 5-inch FullHD display with 441 PPI, octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage expandable with microSD. Main camera is 13 Mpix, front selfie one 5 Mpix, 2750 mAh battery and Android 5.1. Phone is Dual-SIM and of course supports 4G.
Gizchina News of the week
As you can see Lenovo Lemon K3 can hold its own in the Redmi comparison so the deciding factor can be the price. You can compare the details with Redmi 3 for example here and here.
How is this the same hardware with Redmi Note 3? Isnt this the same Snapdragon 616 thats been said to overheat a lot and also slower than the Helio X10?
Prrr!! Not one bit interested.
It’s a competitor to the Redmi 3 not the Redmi Note 3. The Redmi 3 has the same SD616.
snapdragon 616 is the fixed version of the 615 which doesnt overheat at all … Its a good price considering its international availability … comparing to xiaomi’s china base… A lot of people will be interested and i most likely think youll edit your comment so it doesn’t reek of stupidity
Asking when you’re confused about something it’s not “stupidity” by any mean: even if we pretend otherwise, many of us here don’t know everything :-/
That aint nice. No need going that far.
? 616 is an ok chipset and you cant deny that …. Mediatek fanboys be like crazy these days
U r prefectly right. Stupidity is spreading all around. I have Lenovo Vibe P1 on 615. No overheating at all. My wife has Redmi 3 on 616. No sigh of overheating and the battery endurance is crazy: over 4 days of moderate usage
