Here are the first images of the ZUK Z2 Pro

During the launch we didn’t get a good look at the ZUK Z2 Pro, but here are some really nice images of the new 6GB RAM flagship phone.

The ZUK Z2 Pro was announced today in China at a price of 2699 Yuan which is around $417. For that price the phone offers a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB memory, 13 mega-pixel F1.8 rear camera with OIS and PDAF, fingerprint scanner, 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display, 3100mAh battery and a new body with 3D glass rear panel.

ZUK will offer the Z2 Pro in white with a gold frame, or black with black CNC metal frame. The Black version of the phone certainly get’s my vote and looks stunning with it’s dual glass panels and metal frame design.

now while the price is obv. a bit higher
atleast with the zuk z1 the price i was paying in europe was mostly exactly the same as the announced price if i wanted to get one..and thats a good thing..
so there MAYBE wont be huge reseller margins on top of the announced price.

Spec wise this is a madness, they just shut down xiaomi and meizu hard. I really hope this doesnt ship with cyaongen though. After using it for a very long time on my one plus one, depsite its features I have come to the conclusion it is a very bland OS, also buggyer than you would think and the camera software is weak.

  Whatever software it ships with, will it get updates for the next 2 to 3 years ? I know the Mi5 and Mi5 Pro will get MIUI updates for 2 to 3 years. Balco will testify to that.

    lol, yeah you will get some pointless weekly updates that usually ad more bugs and achieve very little. Then if you are very lucky you will get one actual android version update if any at all. Then more pointless weekly updates.

        When did i mention the Z2? I was talking about MIUI’s weekly updates which are a joke. Xiaomi are also particularly bad at doing proper android version updates, as I say you will not get more than one in a devices life time if you get one at all. They frequently introduce new bugs with weekly updates it is well known to anyone who used MIUI for any length of time knows, for some reason @balcobomber25:disqus is just completely in denial about these facts. Spend some time on the MIUI forums and you will see.

  A lot of companies are going to 5.2 this year. I think it’s because it’s the perfect blend between those who want 5 and 5.5. Not too big and not too small.

    I only owned 5.5 and 5,95 (Nexus 6) inch phones.
    But I tried a 5,0 phone from a relative. I like the bigger phones.
    Though the Galaxy S7 non-edge which I tried in a retail store (Mediamarkt) with its 5,1 inch screen wasn’t too bad.
    The feel in hand of a 5,5 inch phone also varies with its screen/body ratio. The Zuk Z1 was a bad example, the LG G3 a better one.

    Top 2 I agree. Im not a huge cyanogen OS fan though, they cant optimise cameras very well and the OS is bland and buggier than you’d expect.

      Lenovo usually does an excellent job with camera’s so I would believe it. And having used the 6s the OIS is better than that but not by much.
