New arrival at the popular GFXBench is showing yet another Xiaomi device and the mysteriously called “Land” model could very well mean the coming facelift of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 lineup. Judging by the specs it’s very likely we are seeing the future Xiaomi Redmi 3A so let’s take a look at it.
The featured phone is going to be a 5-inch model with HD resolution 1280×720 pixels and utilizing octa-core processor Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) clocked at 1.4 GHz. This CPU brings along the Adreno 505 graphics, integrated X8 LTE modem with LTE Cat.7 and the support for Qualcomm’s fast charge QC 3.0. We can also see 3 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage and Android 6.0.1 on the device so pretty reasonable specs for the budget device. Cameras are yet unknown so we have to wait for more info about them later on.
Gizchina News of the week
Even though the GFXBench is not without flaws and errors (famous stubborn insistance on alleged 4.7-inch with some older Meizu models) its usually more or less correct. So we can pencil in the imminent arrival of the Xiaomi Redmi 3A model with expected price tag hovering around the 599 yuan range (92$).
Well Redmi Note 3 Pro is definitely great but might be too big. I was talking about the budget phone Redmi 3 Pro which has been released a couple of days back.
Yeah, after realizing my mistake I didn’t change the answer because it too has great value for the price for the people who likes smaller phones IMO.
Thank you, well it is not as powerful as the Note 3 Pro because of the SD616 but the device is smaller and more convenient if I want to carry it in my jacket’s pocket. Would have preferred a SD625 instead pf the SD616 processor but at the end the phone will be more expensive. MI4S is expensive and has a bad screen (yellow tint). MI4c is a great device too but I prefer the build quality of Redmi 3 Pro. Redmi 3 has sd card slot too which is huge plus if I want to save my pictures. I really don’t know which phone I will buy, Note 3 Pro is the best bet but at the same time its width is 76mm and I plan to use a silicone case for better holding which will make the phone wider. Thanks again for your help!
