Xiaomi’s newest budget flagship in India, the Snapdragon 650 powered Redmi Note 3 was announced in the country only last month. The brand reveals that the device will be on an open sale this month.
On Wednesday, April 27th, the Redmi Note 3 will be available to anyone who wishes to buy the phone. Up until now, Xiaomi sold the Redmi Note 3 only in flash sales that required advance registration, and needless to say, quick hands during the time of the sale.
The sale will take place at the usual time, i.e. 2pm. The phone comes in a couple of variants, with the main difference being the storages (16GB vs 32GB) and RAM (2GB vs 3GB). Prices are 9999 INR and 11,999 INR respectively.
Gizchina News of the week
It seems as though the phone will be on open sale only via Xiaomi’s own web-store, mi.com. No word on whether the open sale rules will apply to Amazon as well.
Are you planning to get one?
Already own one, plus im not from India (but Europe) so I got it before it even before India launch sales (10th/03). Anyway, I’m just writing this to comment on this phone: perfect for the price, fast, nice, smooth, nice hardware components (even camera in day time). Really worth the price.
Not really (in both questions). For one handed use its quite big and iit’s a little tricky using it that way. But it does have a “one hand mode” which reduces 5,5 screen to 3,5 (or 4) for that use (very useful for me).
As for the size it is big but not uncomfortable or bulky (small bezel and rounded all around to make holding it easy and “sweet”).
Thank you, I am asking you this because I am hesitating between the Redmi 3 Pro and Redmi Note 3 Pro. Cheers!
RN3PRO it’s almost same size than 5″ Mi3! Just a little more large, having both you can’t notice the difference in one hand.
BTW, RN3PRO it’s better than R3PRO
Thank you Chico! I am sure your comment will help me to make my decision! Have a great week end!
Please can you use microSDcard above 32GB on your RN3Pro?
Just have a 32GB card, works fine, just make sure don’t buy a no branded card, that one sucks, I’m using Sandisk 32 Gb with 2900 songs, I think more than that make the phone slower when you move between files.
