Blackview are gradually gaining traction after being quite popular a year or so back. We’ve just been notified about a Blackview ‘brand sale’ that’s taking place.
Prices start at a mere $44.99, which will get you a Blackview A5. The A5 comes with the MediaTek MT6580 processor and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, something that happens to be the USP of the phone.
Gizchina News of the week
Moving on, $59.99 will get you the slightly more powerful Blackview A8 or the iPhone 5c-like BV2000S. Other devices include the rugged BV5000 and more; you can access the entire list on the landing page on CooliCool.
Worth noting is that most budget phones from Blackview, like any other Chinese brand, feature the MT6580 SoC that we also saw on the UMi Rome X some days back.
In related news, the retailer is also offering some discounted prices on its clearance section. Let us know if you plan to procure a budget device this season.
Popular? When?
Back when they launched iPhone clones mainly? The Omega, for e.g.
These where not the real clones they didnt have logos or same measurements. If they cant even get clones right i dont know what they can…
LOL 😀
I have the BV2000s for $40 (limited offer) and works fine, except for some little bugs at the software (not big problems anyway). I got an OTA update too, the first day. Seems like a legit company, let’s see what the A5 can do…
