Good to hear that I guess? I likely won’t give them another chance anyway, too many manufacturers to choose out there now.
That’s your choice as a consumer same reason I’ll never use Samsung again, too man problems.
I think he is just a troll that never used xiaomi ever, I hate those people.
I think you are right.
He doesn’t listen to reason at all and I think he is another ulefone undercover “agent” :-))
Xiaomi brings out to the worst in people lol.
I want to see some comparisons between huawei new camera, zuk Z2 Pro and one plus 3.
Just because someone had to bend it in a video to gain clicks doesnt mean its “weak”. Do you bend your phones on a regular basis?
No but I accidentally sat or slept on mine multiple times.
Also have a redmi note 2 that have its guard around the screen bent due to a 10cm drop on my second day of owning it. My Jiayu G4S has been dropped dozens of times over the course of the years, often from 1 meter height, and its guard is still pristine with no blemish.
Really, you can keep trying to defend them, maybe because you have stellar experience with them or maybe you work for them, I don’t really care, it won’t change my experience nor opinion about them.
I’m a lover of Stock android versions, but to choose a Skin I would choose Miui, and I like the fact that even on phones that can’t be updated to bigger Android version, they keep delivering updates with their own number of versions and features, something that Google should do.
lol if you want buggy pointless weekly roms and a very late update to the latest android version that is if you are lucky enough to get it at all.
Or if you want a stable rom which is constantly updated and don’t really care about just “having the latest Android” for bragging rights. I would much rather get those weekly roms and a late update than have an early update that never gets patched again.
Or if you just want to effin use your phone without worrying about bugs and constant update, go with something else.
Hint: I have other phone beside Xiaomi made one that hasn’t been updated for a long time; it’s my main phone.
Every phone has bugs including Nexus phones with their “pure” experience.
ALL softwares have bugs, however there are levels of bugs. I certainly find my daily driver is acceptable enough without constant updates.
I want to command my phone, not the other way around.
I find all my Xiaomi devices more than acceptable.
Again. Good for you? I personally do not find the constant updates to be acceptable. Just give me one rock solid ROM and small security updates if needed.
You don’t find constant updates to be acceptable? Is it just because you clearly don’t like Xiaomi? If your favorite company was offering weekly/monthly updates you wouldn’t want that?
I wouldn’t want that IF my current ROM is already rock stable (which MIUI isn’t in my experience, dunno and don’t care with yours). I need to USE my phone, not my phone NEEDS me to update it.
You don’t have to agree with me by the way, I’m just posting my opinion in a public forum.
I don’t know a single rom that is rock stable. Android is an environment that changes every single day and always needs tweaking. Even stock Android needs updating constantly. I am just trying to understand your thought process not get you to agree.
Mine is, for my need that is. Suck for you I guess.
Agreed. MIUI is an insane resource hog (currently using it on my Mi4c, on which I can clearly tell that the OS chews up the 808 often). Will not buy another Xiaomi again since they don’t offer a stock rom.
Can’t wait for the day I’m going to sell this piece of shi.t Mi4c off and grab a Nexus probably. Convenience features my azz.
Kind of weird that someone who clearly loves stock Android would buy a Xiaomi device in the first place.
My phone was gifted. When I say “will not buy again”, I didn’t mean to imply that this was bought too. I wouldn’t wipe my bottom with this if I would have had a chance to play around with it (if I were making the purchase).
Even the roms from z-grade Chinese manufacturers (OEMs, iOS skinners) have better performance and constant fluidity (60-fps feel) compared to MIUI.
As somebody who has experienced a z-grade Chinese manufacturer stock rom, i can safely say that i’d take MIUI anyday. If a rom is poorly implemented & optimised, then it’s junk, being stock like can’t change that.
I have the redmi note 3 pro 2 gb and with chrome 6 pages open, whatsapp, messenger, Skype, I still got 800 free gb ram. I don’t see anything heavy, no bugs, no lag, stutters etc. You sure you have the original Miui and not some altered one from the reseller you bought the phone?
Can’t say I am a fan of this. Looks kinda useless to me and instead may cause more issues than it’s worth. This is coming from a MIUI fan. I love MIUI 7 even though it uses quite a bit of RAM. MIUI 8 so far is looking too colourful and Touch Wiz like for me.
