Upcoming new UMI Super gets another piece of the spec puzzle revealed and this time it’s the info about the the display. First the dual camera setup, then the bezel-less body and now the display.
Seems like UMI Super will be getting the Super AMOLED display with the touch layer measuring just 0,001mm, which should improve picture quality and up to 20 percent better sunlight visibility.
Gizchina News of the week
UMI Super and Super AMOLED that sounds just…super, right? 🙂 Maybe it’s because UMI is trying to delve into uncharted waters with VR glasses production so maybe they just want to throw in the phone too to help with promoting.
But take this information with a pinch of salt, because UMI seems to be extremely busy making and selling the Touch and Touch X models, not to mention the plans for Touch 2 for the near future. So I guess we won’t get UMI Super anytime soon.
Let me guess. Superman on their default wallpaper?
Is it not the same UMI that said their UMI Rome is amoled, I was really looking for the amoled when I was using the phone.
UMI lies can wake up a dead man.
Releasing craps every week with no good build quality and support.
I think Elephone bought UMI.
the rome fooled me i thought it was amoled, they had a bunch of certifications etc, they went the extra mile with the deception, until i saw a teardown, umi really isnt so great as a brand
To me, UMI isn’t a brand, they’re some group of persons making money from gullible ones.
Do you know the over hyped UMI Touch has Dots on the screen, owners are complaining bitterly.
I told someone not to buy UMI, He insisted because He saw their paid reviews and hype, now He’s angry with himself that He bough the phone.
He’s currently looking for a dummy to sell the phone to.
Ulefone learnt their lessons and upgraded, UMI will NEVER learn.
when i first saw the touch i was like this maybe will be good.. then i saw all the problems i dont trust them, i feel bad for your friend but you did warn him
Am planning of buying UMI Touch this week but this info I have to stay clear. Please order brand can I go for (with SD card
K6000 pro using false propaganda photos, and even made a borderless screen,
Everyone is using photos without borders. Just watch some review video to see reality. As for options, its really a lottery. I have heard mostly positive feedback on Ulefone Power but still to be taken with grain of salt…
If you need a Chinese phone, go with the following brands.
Xiaomi
MEIZU
Lenovo
Ulefone
LeEco
Asus
Huawei (Unnecessary Expensive)
Others are just there making noise.
what are you looking for or rather what in the umi touch that made you want to buy it then i can give a proper recommendation
Just need a good phone
5.5″ 3gb Ram
16-32gb
expandable storage
4g
good sceen etc
well the vernee apollo lite is looking nice BUTTT because its a new brand it is a risky choice,
what about the lenovo vibe x3?
what about the alcatel idol 4s
hmm those are a bit pricey
umm what about the cubot cheetah phone it is pricey for its 6753 but it does match your list seeing that you wanted the umi touchi think this is the best alternative identical specs/pricing but cubot make very good phones not to say they havent made their mistakes or wont in the future
ulefone future but thats 4gb ram tho and over 200$
Thanks ALL, am planning to settle with Oukitel k6000 pro
If you look at Rome’s Amoled screen, you will be on Amoled screen is not real, you’re suspect.

Dear Friends Clearly you can see that this “phone” is clearly inferior to our beloved Mi, they even stole our name…. I hope U dont mind MI saying that.
Praise our beloved lord and savior lei jun!
Dear pls be more polite to dear chairman of the beloved Mi if you want that we come to Pakistan.
OMG ! ur a TROLL !

if u were the chairman , you’d know you already have an agreement with someone to sell ur stuff in Pakistan !
Slapping each other left n right I see: okay am with you in the red corner — battle continues.
UMi and Xiaomi both started making phones around 2011. Xiaomi was relatively unheard of in 2011. If anything they stole the name UMi from the Japanese restaurant chain.
