Vernee Apollo Lite – world’s first 10-core smartphone with Sharp IGZO screen

One thing is certain in 2016, we can look forward to several new Vernee phones to hit the market and today’s spotlight feature is on the Apollo Lite model. It’s the slightly toned down version of the full fledged Apollo model, but certainly not weak or bad.

Apollo Lite is going to offer full metal body with chamfered edges and the brushed metal design. Battery capacity is respectable 3180 mAh and thanks to Mediatek Pump Express 3.0 fast charge function it can charge from 0 to 75 percent in just 30 minutes.

Other specs include Mediatek Helio X20 processor, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage space, 16 Mpix main camera and 5 Mpix front one and Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. We should also get USB Type-C connector and dual SIM hybrid slot.

But the main news for today are concerning the display, because Vernee just confirmed that Apollo Lite will have 5.5-inch FullHD Sharp IGZO panel, which should theoretically offer better touch sensitivity, picture quality and more power efficiency than the cheaper display solutions.
