Three minor Doogee product improvements

Busy bees in Doogee decided to improve their three best selling products and although it’s only very mild and nto significant stuff, still worth mentioning.

First is the smart projector P1, closely resembling the Rubik’s cube design-wise and now it’s going to be available in stylish white color version. The specs are no different from the colored one though so still having all the neat features like the Wi-Fi connectivity.

Second is just a software update for the Doogee Y300 phone, which brings new functions to it with “Video Record” and “Floating Video” Uhm, okay why not.

Third is not much an improvement but rather reminder about a smartwatch S1 product. These watches have SIM slot supporting 2G and 3G and of course the usual features like heart rate sensor, sleep sensor or pedometer are not missing. And S1 can also offer 5 Mpix cam and IP67 certification on top of that.

You can find all three mentioned products on sale here.

My brother has a DG700 and had a DG550 before. Doogee phones get better every year. My current favourites are the X5, X5 pro and T6. I don’t see any problems with doogee phones and im a smartphone geek. I persolally own a galaxy note 3, so i can compare quality. Forget about doogee phones from 2013 and 2014.

How about Doogee phones from 2015? I have used 2 Doogee’s, a DG Turbo and a Doogee F3.

            Turbo:
            Great build quality
            Great design
Very cheap touchscreen that often wouldn’t register touches
            Horrible camera
Sim Card Reader stopped working after about 2 months
Audio stopped working after about 3 months
            No software updates
Doogee refused to fix any of the above issues (even when I offered to pay) and instead blamed my usage.

After this experience I vowed to never use on again, but an online shop offered me one for free to try out:

            F3:
Cheap build quality (shaking it sounds like a miraca)
Generic design that looked like a clone of a Samsung
            Average display
Horrible buttons (click the power/Volume button nothing actually happens, unless you hold it down with force)
            Terrible battery life
            Terrible optimization

Didn’t use it long enough to discover any long term problems myself but several forums people mentioned issues with the camera not working.

            well , then …

if you don’t mind , why don’t your try out the Dogee Titans 2 AND the Homtom T10 when they’re available in the market and give us your candid feedback ?

the general audience here , would absolutely LOVE to hear your say on both the devices !

The titans 2 is already out. O
It is the dg700. I think you mean T3. If it is not waterproof and shockproof my brother will not change to the T3 from the Titans2. I am not interested in low spec phones, but i like the looks of the T3.
As for the Homtom HT10. It seems, that there is no legal connection between Doogee and Homtom.
              See the news on Doogee.cc
Copy-paste doesen’t seem to work now.
Im interested in the Doogee F7 but i think i won’t sell my note 3 yet. I will wait until android 7.0 because software updates will come directly from Google. And i will wait until the next generation of MTK CPU-s because of the weak GPU used in the X20 and because MTK will switch from 20nm to 10nm. That means less heat, less battery drain and more power. They will use a PowerVR GPU instead of a Mali GPU. So i will buy the Doogee flagship of 2017.
Nevertheless 2 friends of mine are using Doogee X5 and one uses a Y100 Pro. They have no problems with them.

sorry , T3 it is… i bet its going to be water and shock proof judging by the looks of it.

interesting , you’re going to skip a whole gen of phones for 10nm MTK cpus ?

Because most of us have used their products and been burned by this company. Fake specs, poor build quality, terrible customer service, no software updates. They don’t have a good history.

But I have seen improvement from them over the past year, they are at least trying. They have a long, long way to go still.

Homtom seem to be doing pretty well for them.

Well, they are not famous for making great phones, they make average phones at best, but that’s not the point.

A while ago there were Doogee representatives with fake accounts (I remember Rosalia, Roger…) commenting on this site and few other ones, praising Doogee phones and that was so obvious but also silly and sad at the same time.

Honestly I don’t think Doogee is worse than Elephone for example.
Good phones on paper, poor build quality and software support.
