Seems like the huge phablets are still the flavour of the season especially on the asian markets and the recent change of many major players to 5.2-inch screens for their flagships is offseted by new crop of the monsters. Just a day after the gargantuan Xiaomi Max with 6.44-inch display has been released yet another big phone has been spotted on TENAA in form of the Nubia Z11 Max.
Gizchina News of the week
The Nubia Z11 Max is not going to be as big as the new Xiaomi, but still the 6-inch screen is plenty to stretch most of the pockets. ZTE opted to stay with the FHD display resolution even for the big model and as the processer there should be most probably octa-core Snapdragon 652 clocked at 1.8 GHz. For the memory there is 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of expandable storage via microSD card. Other specs include 16 MPix back camera with protruding lens and 8 Mpix front one, 4000 mAh battery, rear fingerprint scanner and older Android 5.1.1 as the OS.
We are still waiting for the official word about the Nubia Z11 Max, but it probably shouldn’t take long for the confirmation and the pricing. Judging by the midrange hardware used it can’t be too pricy to stay competitive on the market.
lets see if this nubia is better,Rob if you see this answer me please, your not interested in the mi MAX? see some good indications of good battery life from it although im not sure if you like the specs
Hi the Xiaomi doesn’t interest me at all in typical Xiaomi fashion. At that screen size I wouldn’t want anything less than a 2k display as i had a 6.44″ FHD phone before and it was crying out for more pixels!! I don’t understand manufacturers that put 2k screens on a 5″ phone and only 1080p on a 6.5″ one!
Why not? FHD is good enough as it stays on around ~320 PPI in my book so it’s good enough up to 9.4″.
Not for me it isn’t, even with the phone on my lap I could see the pixels. Unfortunately I’m blessed with razor sharp vision which is a curse in this instance.
exactly … im a sucker for the look , feel and aesthetic design of the Nubia series BUT they’re soo outta my range :/ !
