Gizchina News of the week

Those of you preferring the black version still need to wait a little longer for the phone, and the more affordable 4GB + 64GB model will be listed on May 31st.

With Chinese stores getting the phone soon expect resellers to begin offering this powerhouse of the phone soon too, but also keep in mind that this will be the Chinese variant with ZUI installed and no native Google support.

Is there any info about the ZUK Z2 international version and cyanogenmod for me the key element to buy it.

Why is the international version so important then? I mean it already has all bands and you could be one of the first using the phone. When the international version comes you just simply flash that rom and done… Or is it because of warranty?

its is not the international version thing its cyanogenmod’s long term support. If you not only will get one ore two update and a couple of security fixes during the phones lifecyle. Actually it is not clear if the phone got cyanogenmod support or not. Shure you can flash it later but what you can flash later is not clear, the hope is to get a clear commitment with the international version release. For me is this important to know before i buy it.

400$ For that phone is a very competitive price.
One Plus 3 is in real trouble.

OP3 should sell at lower price, with a bigger screen.
OR am I getting something wrong ?

Considering how ugly Z2 Pro is, OnePlus 3 is definitely not in trouble.

Actually, 开售提醒 means “enter your phone number and wait for a text message when you can buy one”.

Think this will be my new phone. It’s a bit smaller than ideal but I’m getting tired of MIUI’s bugginess. MIUI 7 has just killed my Mi Note effectively. Battery life has gone to shit and rotation and screen brightness have yet to be fixed after months. So much for weekly updates. I have never had a MIUI weekly update that I’ve actually been thankful for. MIUI 8 just looks crap. MIUI 6 was the best IMO. If they did a 64GB Mi Note with MIUI 6 I would still buy it on a day like today.

Ideal phone would be 5.5″ black phone slim top and side bezels with 75%+ screen to body ratio with snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 64-128GB UFS2.0 storage and OIS with a good battery for 2499RMB. Don’t care about microSD or screen res as long as it’s 1080p+. Don’t need MP, just need a fast responsive camera with a low f number and larger pixels with OIS. 4GB RAM should be ample too. Not bothered about how the fingerprint sensor is but I find having it on the back and then having capacitive buttons below screen the nicest. Wish ZTE weren’t suing everyone on the glowing halo home button as thats my favourite.
