Selection of tablets and mini computers on the Lightinthebox reseller website is not so vast so any expansion is pretty much welcome if you are a fan or a returning customer. And because they stocked up on two interesting pieces for an interesting price it’s worth reporting. Both pieces are hardly brand new models, but still belong to the bestselling cathegory so surely worth checking out.
First one is the latest Xiaomi tablet MiPad 2 with its premium full metal ultra thin (6.95mm) build and the gorgeous 7.9-inch screen with 2048×1536 pixel resolution and the almost extinct perfect 4:3 aspect ratio. Also it’s one of the few tablets not equipped with the lowest Cherry Trail Intel Atom model, but going with the X5-Z8500 paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage. Shame the memory is not expandable so keep that in mind. But the rest of the specs is pretty impressive with 6190 mAh battery, USB Type-C connector, 8Mpix/5 MPix cams, Wi-Fi 802.11ac or Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI on top of it of course. Currently offered for $185.63.

Second is the weird TV-Box / Mini-PC hybrid Pipo X9 offering 8.9-inch FHD screen with 1920×1200 pixel resolution, older Intel Atom Baytrail Z3736F, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage expandable with microSD, four full-sized USB ports, LAN connector, dual boot system Windows 10 / Android 4.4 , 4800 mAh battery and more.
Could be used as a normal mini-PC, TV Box with KODI (new name for XMBC) installed or even as a semi-tablet usage. Pipo X9 is currently available for $134.99.
Weird, Pipo X9 is not a tablet with detachable keyboard like your picture. It is a weird mini PC+tablet together
