OnePlus 2 owners get another Marshmallow based Beta

oneplus 2 review

If you are a OnePlus 2 owner you can head over to the OnePlus Forums and install the latest Marshmallow beta update now.

Despite being quite an open phone maker, OnePlus have been rather slow with getting an official Marshmallow update out for the OnePlus 2, and while the final OTA is on the way it is kind of upsetting to see the unreleased OP3 already has a preview build of Android N.

Anyway for those of you who don’t mind manually updating the ROM on your OP2 you can now download OxygenOS 3.0.1 for the phone with a few new updates,

Gizchina News of the week

Changes to the system see more improvements to the fingerprint scanner, a new “Clear process” option in the recent apps screen, an update to Swiftkey and even some image stabilisation enhancements for the camera,

The final release of Marshmallow on the OP2 will be available as an OTA in the coming weeks, in addition, the OnePlus 3 will also be available soon with the official VR launch for the phone scheduled for the 14th June.

The problem is a lot of those other brands have terrible support so people (including myself) jump all over them any chance they get. OnePlus has been pretty good with software support.

So far I like them, I’ve always loved Asus products. My Chromebook and one of my laptops is an Asus. Only thing I want to see is the final design.
