Elephone S3 is currently one of the main models the company is putting their faith in and they are pretty proud about the finished product. We have to admit that the design of the phone looks very good, at least judging from the pics and we are very curious and eager to see it in real life and usage.
Hardware inside isn’t exactly any cutting edge technology, but it can still pass as a reasonable midrange at best. Specs include 5.2-inch FulHD display, octa-core MT6753 processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage, 13 MPix main camera, 5 MPix selfie cam, 2100 mAh battery capacity, fingerprint scanner, fast charge support, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, full metal mody and bezel-less design.
Gizchina News of the week
Elephone S3 is already out of the presale period and Elephone claims that the first batch of orders are already on its way to the customers. They are also repeating their promise that all orders will be processed until June 10th and for in case of any delay they will be compensating the customers with 1 dollar for every 1 day of the delay.
And one more positive thing in the end, if you are interested in Elephone S3 you can get it with $8 discount using the coupon ELE2016S3 in this link.
On their way to their customers…and soon will be on their way back for repairs.
lol 🙂
Well, at least they’re getting theirs. A pal of mine cancelled his order for his P9000 64GB, after having waited half a year and then being told he was gonna get it in october.
waited for 6 months thats like a time when one technology becomes obsolete
Haha, you’re obsolutely right.
The only thing Elephone knows how to do is over hyping.
Instead of them to learn from Xiaomi, Huawei and the rest.
“elephone s3 is on its way to the customers.
Unfortunately, a single man will walk his way from china to your houses with his bare feet to bring you the product, so… It may take a while…”
Great to see Elephone slowly picking up where customer are criticising.
To other brands I’ve just had two weeks of nightmares trying to buy two phones as gifts. Many phones in the MTK6753 league are simply not available even though websites say they are in stock, especially the black to grey coloured phones. The phones I was targeting were Oukitel’s K6000 Pro and Vernee’s Thor.
P9000 well looked after? You’re kidding right? Som many bugs taht have not been addressed in either of it’s two updates – or one arguably, as one got pulled for creating more problems than it fixed. If you buy an Elephone just make sure where you buy it from has a good return policy because you’re going to need it.
Just buy Elephone for testing, don’t buy it for your daily driver because you will smatch it on the wall in anger.
If you need quality phone with adequate support, check Xiaomi, Meizu, LeEco and Huawei.
Depends on the software you’re running. There are Elephones with great community support. No complaints there…
I generally throw phones on the wall when they come with bad or clanky software. That’s not Elephone’s “first” though. I’ve thrown plenty of Samsungs, Sonys and certain Chinese brands too. At this point I never buy a phone without community support, I’m bound to smash it in anger eventually without it…
Elecrap you mean?
One of the company that should be shut down for producing crap.
By the same token many (other) Chinese companies should too.
The low-level phones of -even- major brands are of similar or even inferior quality than Elephone’s phones. I mean they’re mostly sub $200 phones, what do you expect?
but i have got to say this the design looks a better version of OPX
looked ok until i read the battery size! Might last half a day!
The best thing about these articles on Elephone are the comments. In fact that’s the only reason I read them.
lol how are they still in business? who the fucks buys a phone from them?
received a review sample a few days ago, and so far the S3 is looking good for a mid-range phone.
There will be a full review on http://www.MiniPCDB.com soon, but until then it’s worth mentioning that the device does NOT come with Android 6.0 (at least mine didn’t)
