Holiday season is almost upon and with that come the jolly days filled with wandering all around the places where the electrical sockets are often a myth so getting a phone with a giant battery capacity may sound pretty appealing in preparation.

One of the adepts for such purchase could be for example Asus Zenfone Max Pro, which is equipped with 5000 mAh battery promising up to 25 hours of talk time or 22 hours of video playback.
Hardware specs of the phone include 5,5-inch FullHD IPS display, 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, 13 Mpix main camera with dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, 5 Mpix front camera with the same aperture or Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed.
You can grab the Asus Zenfone Max Pro on sale here for $157.99.
i’d like to see something with snap 650/652 instead of a poor 410
This isn’t a bad phone overall but I would actually prefer the normal Zenfone Max to this. The regular one has 720p display which runs much better with that fairly weak SoC and gives you even better battery life.
what is the different between max and max pro?
The main differences:
Max: 720P display, 16GB ROM
Pro: 1080P display, 32GB ROM
On paper it seems like the Pro is the better choice but the SD410 is a really weak processor and runs a lot better on 720p phones. Also with a 720p you will get even better battery life and the extra 16GB of storage isn’t that big of a deal because the phone has an SD slot.
