Huawei’s Honor brand has released a new budget smartphone that’s available with either Snapdragon or Kirin chipsets.
The Honor 5A was recently launched in China to take the place of the 4A before it. The new phone comes in two variants depending on the networks you need the device to be compatible with.
Both phones use octacore chipsets (the Snapdragon 617 or Kirin 620), with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, micro SD card slot and a 5.5-inch HD display.

Like other budget phones, the Honor 5A comes in a few different colours (gold, white, yellow, pink blue and black), and features a built-in battery (3100mAh) and fast charging.
Pricing is on par with the recently launched Xiaomi and Meizu phones, but the Huawei lacks a fingerprint scanner and all metal body, but it does at least have an Android Marshmallow based ROM.
