Xiaomi pulled off a bit of a surprise by launching the Redmi 3S a few weeks back. While the Redmi 3 hasn’t been the most thundering success story, it hadn’t been on the market for too long. Nonetheless, Xiaomi ditched the phone by launching an upgraded version of it.
It isn’t the most powerful Xiaomi phone — the Redmi series is designed to be affordable — but yet looks like a decent device if you aren’t what they call a ‘power user’. The Redmi 3S comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera and a Redmi Note 3-style 4100mAh battery.
The Redmi 3S is also the first Xiaomi to feature a fingerprint sensor with a 5-inch screen. Speaking of, the resolution across the display is 1280 x 720p, or good ol’ HD.
The phone is already on pre-sale for international buyers, and is scheduled to ship starting 15th of next month. There are some other deals you can have a look at, too.
