Only yesterday did we catch the Honor 8 passing through TENAA, complete with its dual rear camera setup. According to some media outlets, we may just have learnt about the launch date of the phone.
It is being said that the Honor 8 will launch on Monday, 11th of July. The Honor 7 of last year turned out to be quite a thundering success, and it’s going to be quite a task for Huawei, Honor’s parent company, to better the Honor 7.
Gizchina News of the week
So far we know that the Honor 8 will have a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display, an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera, a 12 mega-pixel rear camera (plus, of course, the secondary sensor of unknown resolution) and a Kirin 950 SoC with 3 or 4GB of RAM. All this, with a 2900mAh battery which will be of non-removable nature.
As for the pricing, the Honor 8 is expected to go on sale for a starting price of 1999 Yuan or $300.
Wow, how is Huawei pricing this phone so cheap?
By exploiting cheap labour.
I was gonna go with:
find all “leica”

Huawei uses Foxconn to manufacture it’s handsets and pays the same (roughly) manufacturing costs as other brands like OPPO, Xiaomi, Apple and Lenovo. They have little do with how much those factory workers are underpaid, that’s Foxconn themselves that control that.
That’s the same exact policy honor followed during the past 3 years, I don’t see where’s the problem
They usually have premium price for premium devices. No problem for me, I would buy this if it is proven to have one of the best cameras .
This will launch on my birthday, might consider buying it as a birthday present for myself.
