Seems like a week isn’t fully complete until Elephone announces some new model coming. Their frantic speed of releasing new and new phones is just pure madness and the announcement comes just days after the Elephone P20 one.
The newest horse in the Elephone stable is going to feature double curved glass, the bezel-less design similar to the S3 model and some new power under the hood with Helio X20 processor.

Most probably there will be some variants of the phone in different price levels ranging from $99.99 to $189.99, which is pretty sketchy, because with such insane differences it’s impossible to keep the hardware intact. As for the color options the phone should be coming in some unusual ones like green, blue and gold. Oh well.

It totally can be a renaming of the p20, because it was mostly a name due to the soc aboard… Still they’re 6 months too early in advertising this…
If they make it look like that, people will just dismiss it as a Samsung clone.
The problem with Elephone is that they announce new phones but they never come to market, and if they do, its a year later and loaded with bugs. Just look what’s going on with the P9000, it was late to market and has a list on non-stop problems on just about ever aspect on the phone. They promised a Version B that would work in the US and it’s been eight months and still no date for release. Elephone needs to get it’s act together and come out with their new phones on a timely basis and bug free.
Look and the Jiayu S3. That company stuck to the same model but slightly varied with more memory or a faster CPU. In the community it’s got fantastic support with new roms coming out each week on a nearly two year old phone. If Elephone did similar with about four different models they be a much more successful company.
Hey, guys. I have used elephone smartphone a long time ago, such as P8000, and S3. As to S7, honestly, i am curious about it. Not only the outlook and the double-faced screen, but also the amazing price. I do believe S7 will be popular in the market after its release.
I don’t mind the colours, but it all has to do with support and overall features.
Elephone continues the trend of good looking phones with average specs, questionable performance and terrible quality This company tries to be too many things at once and doesn’t succeed at any of them. They want so badly to be the next Xiaomi but they don’t want to do what Xiaomi actually did to get to where they are today. Elephone should have two models, a flagship and a budget phone. Work on perfecting those two models, perfect your software and customer support. Once you have that locked down for a few product cycles you can then expand to other segments.

My worry is now that Elelphone is improving on build quality they are skimping on camera specs and the SoC.
They were always skimping there, they now -at least- make attractive bodies. Not that it matters to me since they relocked their software (no source releases anymore) … they were on a good path last year, but by now it seems that it only seemed so, they basically do things at random and some of the things they do happen to seem good from time to time, I wonder how they manage to still be in business, much better companies than them (jiayu comes to mind) closed down…

l heard that P20 uses a large aperature f/1.7, it will be awesome
