Xiaomi came a while before brands like OnePlus, etc. joined the ‘pricing redefined’ market. The company’s newest phablet, the Mi Max comes in a few variants — but another one, the cheapest one till date, was just spotted online.
At launch, Xiaomi unveiled a few different versions of the Mi Max — but these were limited to 3GB and 4GB RAM editions. Sellers in China seem to have gotten hold of the base 2GB RAM edition of the phone that Xiaomi did not talk about.

These very sellers are now listing the phone for around 1200 Yuan, or roughly $180 — making it an extremely affordable 6.44-inch phone. Besides a massive screen, the Mi Max also comes with a massive battery — a 4850mAh one at that.
There’s no clarity on what SoC this 2GB RAM Mi Max ships with (if it is real anyway). But I’d assume Xiaomi wouldn’t let go of the Snapdragon 650, it has performed well for them anyway.
