Budget model Ulefone U007 is getting quite some promo campaign, one would say even maybe slightly overblown looking at the phone specifications and the $50 price tag. And today’s comparison video falls for sure into the “too much” cathegory.
In its price range the Ulefone U007 is certainly not a bad device with 5-inch HD resolution display, MT6580A processor clocked at 1,3 Ghz, Android 6.0 Marshmallow or the 13 Mpix/5 Mpix camera combo (though interpolated from 8 Mpix/2 Mpix). But comparing it with devices costing ten times more and keeping straight face is just another level marketing.
Gizchina News of the week
Sure it’s a bold move, but taking the Ulefone U007 and putting it side by side with Vivo Xplay 5s and Xiaomi Mi Max is just pure uneven fight in completely different cathegory. And don’t worry kids, our old friends Samsung S7 Edge and iPhone 6s are making an appearance too… Check it out yourself.
Oh and annoying nitpicker like myself can’t resist the temptation to point out the cute misspelling with Smasung S7 throughout the video, close to Smashsung so maybe next time.
I don’t see the problem. So you have a phone that costs a fraction of the others, but still performs quite well compared with them. I would say that is disgrace for the others, not for the cheapest phone.
