Elephone P9000 Edge featuring dual noise cancelling microphone

Elephone P9000 Edge is one of the many Elephone devices currently in development, but surely one of the most exciting ones. The phone is scheduled to be launch during the second half of the year so considering we are already in July it can be really soon. Maybe.

We already know that the phone will be powered by the Mediatek Helio X25 processor and will have 5,7-inch JDI display with 2K resolution and the S3320A touch sensor produced by Synaptics. Body is going to be a full metal one and with AAC speakers. Main camera will be a dual one with fast focus. P9000 Edge should be allegedly launched in two different versions, lower 4 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM and the high-end 6 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM.

Today we can add one more piece to the puzzle, because now we know that the phone will also have a dual microphone designed for the best noise reduction function. Primary microphone will be catching the voice and the secondary will suppress the noise generated by the ambience. This secondary mic will be located on the back cover just below the LED flash, as you can see from the main article picture.

I just don’t like that red circle around the Microphone… It’s not quite the same tone of red as the camera surround…
