Vernee Apollo Lite gets the first OTA update

Following the four Vernee Thor firmware updates the time has come for the second of Vernee’s released models, the Apollo Lite. The company claims it’s the first firmware update ever released for a deca-core device so planting the flag.

Seems like Vernee are really coming through on their promise abour frequent updates and care for all their devices, even though their position is easier with just two models released. But quite promising and worth applauding nonetheless.

Gizchina News of the week

So what’s packed in the first Vernee Apollo Lite update ? First of all the optimization of the sound output and the voice calls, then the main camera performance with the PDAF and dual LED flash. Quality and speed of the fast charging should be also improved. Last but not least the problem with 3rd party apps should be fully fixed and numerous bugs concerning certain apps ironed out.

Other things that I’m seeing are kinda orangeish screen and low quality vibration motor… But I’ll wait for more in depth review, cause it still is better than competition (Ulefones, Umis)

It received two updates actually, and one of those removed the 4K recording capabilities of the device and also added Schedule Shut down time.
What it did improve was battery life(especially on standby) and the fingerprint scanner(which was horrible with the initial software)
