The Elephone engineers are busy even during the summer months and the brand portfolio is quickly growing and growing. The latest piece into the puzzle is a new U-disk flashdrive with a fingeprint based security and encoded data.
With a secure flashdisk storage they want to offer something to the paranoid clients worried about possible intrusion and thanks to the fingeprint scanner the amount of security is going to be pretty high.
The flashdisk storage will be divided in two parts (public and private) and while the public partition is going to work like a normal flashdrive the private sector is going to be encoded and secured with the fingeptint recognition. The Elephone U-disk should be made from a quality metal material and they also promised quite fast and sensitive fingerprint scanner sensor. The flashdisk should be compatible with devices all across the board with Android, Windows, MacOS and Linux support.
Oh man!! this is the future <3
Despite their generally shit products, I think that with a (highly unlikely) change of management, revamping their entire quality control line (also unlikely) they could be a decent company.
Of course, they would have to change their name into something less ridiculous…
This is actually a pretty cool sounding gadget. Whether it’ll work or not is a mystery, but it seems like a great idea.
